Veracruz, Ver. (elgordogringo.com.mx) August 12, 2021.- The Leones De Yucatan starting pitcher Radhamés Liz gave up three runs during his six-inning appearance, but an explosive lineup commanded by Alex Liddi lead to an 11-3 Leones victory over the Eagles of Veracruz and get one step closer to advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

The leones lead most of the game, lead by the Italian Alex Liddis bat hitting two home runs in and racking up five RBIs in the Leones’ fourth playoff game of the postseason. 

“We have adapted very well to this stadium, with Matos leading the team gives us a lot of confidence because he is someone who has all the experience and likes to play very aggressively,” he said.

The leones offense began to score in the third inning, crossing the home plate three times, thanks to a two-run homer by Norberto Obeso and an RBI double by Cuban Yadir Drake. 

The fifth game of the playoffs will be this Thursday at 8:00 pm, with the battle between the experienced Cubans Yoanner Negrín and Jorge Martínez. The game can be enjoyed live on SIPSE TV, La Comadre 98.5, and also by registering at  www.jornron.tv.
