Merida, Yuc. (elgordogringo.com.mx) July 29, 2021.- The Tigres de Quintana Roo put together a powerful rally in the fourth inning to beat the Leones de Yucatán 7-2, and level the seires 1-1 this Wednesday at Kukulcán Alamo Park.

The Tigres pitching lineup came awake in the fourth inning with an imposing seven-run attack, led by an unstoppable hit by Joven Rosa, as well as home runs by Alex Robles and Yosmany Guerra that gave them a decisive advantage.

Yucatán reacted in the next inning thanks to Norberto Obeso’s extra base hit which saw Jorge Flores score, and Walter Ibarra’s RBI single to left field.

The victory went to visiting starter Jared Wilson who went through five innings with three strikeouts and two runs allowed; while the loss was charged to Jake Thompson after receiving five earned runs in 3.2 innings. 

The series will conclude this Thursday at 6:45 pm, in a Fan Day celebration where there will be 2 × 1 on all drinks during the game.
