Merida, Yuc. ( July 29, 2021.- The Tigres de Quintana Roo and Leones de Yucatán starred in a sensational third game of the Clásico de Fieras that went to extra-innings ending with a score of 8-6 in favor of the Tigres, this Thursday at the Kukulcán Alamo Park.

The Tigres strung together four runs in the 11th inning, giving the Bengals a win and the series in a battle that had it all, including sixteen pitching changes; Tigres pitcher Carlos De León receives the win, and the loss goes to Lenix Osuna.

The Tigers started the game explosively, scoring four runs in the first inning against Leones Starting pitcher Casey Harman thanks to the bats of Reynaldo Rodríguez and a home run by Jovan Rosa. 

The response came immediately when a Luis Juárez sacrifice fly started a three-run rally seeing Norberto Obeso, Jorge Flores, and Yadir Drake cross the plate in the third inning.

The game then became a pitching duel where relievers from both teams came out to aqllowing zero runs through the next six innings, forcing the game to go extra-innings before the more than three thousand fans in the cave.

In the decisive 11th inning, the Tigres added four runs to the board thanks to the Yosmany Guerra and Ángel Reyes. Later in the inning fans road, Humberto Sosa’s homer came with Yadir Drake on board, but it was not enough to overtake the Tigres lead.

The emotions will continue this Friday when the wild beasts receive the Campeche Pirates in the Health Personnel Appreciation Series, where doctors, nurses and medical assistants will enter the Kukulcán Alamo Park at no cost.
