Negrín has been on the injured reserve list for the past 15 days and is tentatively scheduled to start game one of the Oaxaca seires tonight– with a 3.86 ERA this season it will be great to see him back on the mound after this past Oaxaca series which saw us give up 11 runs in a single game loss!

This week also saw the arrival of Tony Campana and the return of 2018 winning manager Francisco ‘Chico’ Rodríguez– who was on the 2018 staff as the Leons won the LMB championship. The team is currently in third place in the division, and hopefully, the new manager can solve the inconsistent play issues that have plagued the Leones.

The Leone’s first series will kick off at 6:45 pm against the Guerreros de Oaxaca, with Yoanner Negrín taking the mound tonight, then on Wednesday Rolando Valdez and Jake Thompson on Thursday.

The Leones will meet the Pericos de Puebla on Friday at 7:15 pm with the Logan Ondrusek taking the mound for the Leones and on Saturday at 5:45 pm with Dalton Rodríguez, and the Sunday at 5:45 pm with a probable start from Yoanner Negrín.

I will be in attendance for each of the Pericos de Puebla games this weekend so stay tuned to my Instagram for behind the scene pictures and live updates throughout the series!
