Last nights scheduled game opened to a rain delay until the umpire crew decided to postpone the game as it became clear that the weather would not break.

Game one of the Leones vs Veracruz series is scheduled to be the first game of a double header today beginning at 5 PM. This makes today’s game problematic for the stadium and fans in attendance as Merida recently reintroduced mobility restrictions for the public— meaning there are to be no drivers on the road after 11 PM— this may cause the stadium to announce in the middle of the second game that fans should go home, or even be turned away at the gate as both games may go past the 11 PM curfew.

This is the fourth game this season that was canceled due to rain for the Leones— the entire first series at Campeche was rained out and is scheduled to be made up next time the they meet in Campeche.

Game one of the double header begins tonight at 5 PM with the second starting soon after. Streams can be found on the Leones Facebook page, my Facebook page, or a site put on by the LMB jonrón.tv
