The second game of a doubleheader lasted until midnight, which saw the leones come out with an 8-4 win thanks to a six-run frenzy in the third inning.

Alexander Liddi continued his dominating performance on both sides of the plate scoring three hits and a first-inning home run to begin things for the Leones in game two

With the leones behind three runs in the third inning, they put on a six-run rally that included an out-of-the-park homer from Yadir Drake and a grand slam by Luis ‘Pepón’ Juárez bringing the score to 6-3 to begin the fourth inning.

This Sunday, the Águila de Veracruz and Lones will play the last game of the series at 5:45 pm, in the Kukulcán Alamo Park, with Logan Ondrusek taking the mound.

    1. Next weekend we play Puebla at home and it should be a good series. We also play Oaxaca during the week, but they are dead last so I don’t see it being a must watch.
