Starting pitcher Dalton Rodríguez allowed two runs through 3.1 innings, giving the Tigres an early 2-0 lead as Art Charles and Yadir Drake both scored runs in the fourth, tieing the game 2-2 until the bottom of the fourth saw two more runs– and the last of the game– cross the plate for the Tigres resulting in a 4-2 loss for the Leones.

The only runs for the Leones came in the top of the fourth when a flyout by Walter Ibarra saw Art Charles cross the plate and an infield single as Jorge Flores hit a squib to the Shortstop, enough to allow Drake to make it home from third-base. Then, in the bottom of the fourth, the Tigres scored twice more, securing their victory.

The third, and last game, of the series, will take place tonight at 7:00 pm, with the leones starter Radhamés Liz– who wowed the crowd earlier in the season throwing 98 MPH across the plate– who rejoins after his participation with the Dominican National Team. The action can be followed live on La Comadre 98.5 and SIPSE TV.
