May 21st, opening day– it was supposed to be anyway– the Leones even attempted to use magic to stop the torrential downpour after the second game was called off due to rain. It wasn’t all a wash, though– both games saw a bit of action– in Sunday’s game, Jonathan Jones came out swinging, scoring the first hit of the season for the Leones.

Since both Fridays and Saturdays game was canceled, they scheduled a doubleheader for Sunday– so a full day of Leones baseball ( I don’t know how players feel about doubleheaders, but as a fan it is cool.)
